Commenting on the factors of the dichotomy of hyper-visibility and increased rates of violence towards trans women, I begin to explore processes of immortalizing, glazing, and glorifying the body among tension and piercing.

 

Implying bodies though garment construction and seaming, emphasizing areas which dictate femininity and expose sensual anatomies.

Lacquering and petrifying body through preservation with resin; implying a gaze through caressing the form and application.
